RIP my beloved Shadow

September 19, 2012 – Today is one of the hardest days of my life. Today I said good-bye to my beloved Shadow… the best dog in the world. Read the rest of this entry »

September 2, 2012 – I can’t believe that it has been so long since I’ve written a post on here. Life has been really busy (yup… that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it :-)). So, this post will be a synopsis of what has been happening around our farm and in our horsey lives since I posted last. Read the rest of this entry »

February 26, 2012 – Well… it has been a pretty busy month around the farm and with business. So busy, in fact, that I haven’t had much quiet time to just sit and do nothing (or update my blog). I like being busy, I really do, but some days I would give anything to just sit and veg. I guess the days when I have nothing but time will come soon enough so I guess I should be grateful that my life is so full now. Read the rest of this entry »

Ripples4January 22, 2012 – Ok… what is up with the weather in southern Ontario? This is the strangest winter we have had in a long time. A long overdue update from the farm

shadyridge_logo-smDecember 18, 2011 – So… I just realized that it has been 2 months since I posted an update about our farm and horse life. I’ve posted about web designs I have done and other information but I can’t believe I haven’t posted an update! Oh wait… yes I can… life has been super busy. Everything from work to family to horses, life is just crazy… but lovin’ (almost) every minute of it. And, with so little time for extras, unfortunately my blog updates and my photography have had to take a back seat. I won’t make any promises that my tardiness will be suddenly rectified and the posts will start coming again on a regular basis but I do promise to “think about” posting more often and then being hard on myself when it doesn’t happen. 🙂 Read the rest of this entry »

Shady Ridge Farm currently has 2 stalls available for boarding. We have a cute little barn with tack room and a couple of paddocks… not to mention a sand ring and beautiful trails.

DSCN2332-smOctober 8, 2011 – Wow… I can’t believe how long it has been since I have done an update on what has been happening around here. Things have been so busy it is hard to find the time to jot down what has been going on. I’ve been trying to think of some way that I can do regular updates that don’t take up too much time but alas, I can’t think of how to do it so if you have any suggestions, I am open to your thoughts.
